Is there a free plan for tutors?

Yes. The free plan includes the collaborative whiteboard, video calls and teacher controls for a small group of students, so you can run real lessons before deciding on a paid plan for individual tutors or organisations.

Do my students need to create an account?

Students join a lesson from the invitation you send them. Teachers manage student and parent accounts, invitations and messaging inside Boardous.

Does Boardous work on iPad?

Yes. Boardous has a fully native iPad and iPhone app that also works offline, and the web app runs in any modern browser on Windows, Mac and Chromebook.

Do I still need Zoom or Google Meet?

No. Video and audio calls are built into every lesson, with breakout rooms, lesson recording and screen sharing from iOS, Windows and Mac.

Can I record my lessons?

Yes. Lessons can be recorded so students can rewatch them later and you can review how a session went.

Can I reuse my lesson material?

Yes. Save any lesson as a reusable template or start from a pre-designed one, and bring in PDFs and other documents to annotate on the whiteboard.

How do parents stay informed?

Every lesson produces an easy-to-read report with progress and grades, including automatic grading of student projects, and you can message students and parents directly from Boardous.

Can I run Boardous on my own servers?
